In addition to the above, The Kingston Youth Shelter has participated in placement/projects completed by a wide variety of disciplines.  Please contact us if you feel The Kingston Youth Shelter would be a suitable experience for your placement/project.

NOW OFFERING HIGH SCHOOL PLACEMENTS! - High school students currently must complete 40 hours of community service to be eligible to graduate.  Beginning in September, The Kingston Youth Shelter will offer placements to high school students wishing to fulfill this requirement!  Placements will take place during the day when the Shelter is closed, and will consist of maintenance/up keep of the shelter.  Staff will be on hand to answer any questions students may have about the shelter or our youth!  A great opportunity for any student looking to continue into a post-secondary social science field!
