Kingston Youth Shelter

Warm Environment
	The Kingston Youth Shelter has a very 'homey' feel, largely due to countless hours of volunteer time that went into re-decorating the main floor in 2003
Nutrition
	The Kingston Youth Shelter has a fully stocked pantry and access to fridge, stove, microwave. Staff and volunteers cook meals when time allows, though are always available to assist residents in their cooking endeavours.
Hygiene
	Residents have access to complete and separate shower facilities for males and females. All personal care items are readily available (toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo). As well there is a washer and dryer.
Counselling
	All staff are trained counsellors and are available to residents any time during operating hours. Staff are able to assess resident needs and refer to appropriate services where needed.
